With Bill 38 expected to be proclaimed in early 2018, which includes provisions for Quality Assurance (QA), the NLASW is seeking 5 individuals to form a QA committee. The committee will have the responsibility of addressing QA concerns related to social work practice and overseeing policies and procedures related to QA processes. Monthly committee meetings will be held via teleconference. Committee members will be appointed by the NLASW Board of Directors for a term of 3 years.
The following criteria will be considered as part of the appointment process:
- Registered social worker in good standing with NLASW
- Minimum of five years’ experience in social work practice
- Proven ability in assessment, including training and/or experience in assessment of practice concerns
